I’m from California, where there is an abundance of good Mexican restaurants, I’ve lived in Italy for 8 months and I miss tacos. I thought the tacos were pretty good, my favorite was the avacado y res was the best one. The shrimp taco could be better- honey mustard is an odd choice for a taco, maybe an avocado cream, lime cream, or chipotle cream sauce would be better. The de puerco was good but not very spicy like I expected. The nachos megaliti were ok but the cheese was cold- that type of cheese should be warm. I have to be honest- the margarita was the worst margarita I’ve ever had. I saw a sign that said they have a selection of tequila and to ask the barman for advice, I thought this meant he knew something about tequila, I was wrong. I ordered the spicy pesca (peach) margarita, it was not spicy and there was no trace of peach flavor. It tasted like cheap tequila with a small squeeze of lime, I shuddered with every sip. My advice: get tacos and a Pacifico or Corona beer with chips and guac and you’ll be happy. The staff were helpful and nice.

The problem is: what to order if you don't know the dishes? Anyone who has no Mexican experience has this big problem and the absence of photos on the menu accentuates this deficiency! The staff is very helpful and tries to interpret your tastes for the optimal choice! The raw materials are good and so are the workmanship and presentations! I recommend entradas with spicy chicken wings, chips and nachos with dips! Then tacos of your choice between different types. Burritos for those who are very hungry and finish with churros with Nutella! Worth trying, also because the prices are reasonable...

June 2023 brings with it a breath of freshness and novelty to Bari. The new management made in Mavì, another revolutionary place in Bari, has finally managed to bring "THE" Mexican cuisine with its colors and tastes. The very characteristic restaurant decorated with the typical colors of the "Dias de Los muertos" is the perfect setting for the quality of the products and materials served at the table by courteous staff attentive to the needs of the customers. Among the various dishes, all delicious, we were really surprised by "La picaduras de puerco", or morsels of pulled pork with CHIPOTLE sauce. TOP! Not to mention the cerveza meat burrito enriched with rice. The quality of a starred risotto inside a burrito! Our dinner ended with classic Mexican churros. What can we say at this point other than that we will certainly visit this new reality often and with great pleasure in a Bari that is becoming increasingly cosmopolitan and inclusive in tastes.

Very good Mexican pub. They offer various typical Mexican dishes, I remember with pleasure the burritos that I was able to taste in some of their varieties, but also excellent authentic Mexican cocktails, real explosions of taste. The cocktails in the club have the same importance and attention as the food, so if you want you could go just for a drink. Everything on the menu is part of Mexican cuisine and there are no intruding dishes from other nationalities, so it is authentic Mexican. There is no table service, they give you the classic disk that vibrates when the dishes are ready. Of course Mexican cuisine is not healthy and you need to know before going there that you will be eating heavy but tasty food. Definitely an excellent idea, there would be a need for alternatives like these in the city to the usual traditional cuisine and I congratulate the owner and staff, I definitely recommend it
